Ball joint differences for SE and GLE

does anyone know why the GLE ball-joint is more expensive than the SE?
also, since the ball joint and the lower-control arm are purchased
together, how difficult is the install?

I appreciate the help.

its pretty easy, i did it in about 5 hrs first time.

The ball joint is pressed into the arm so your replacing both no matter.

I don't believe there is a difference between the SE and the GLE. I have an SE control arm on the right side of my GLE and the replacement was identical to the old (bent) one.

I can put together some instructions if you need them, but its mostly self-explanatory.

I was thinking of doing these in unison with changing the
springs and struts...is this where the bulk of the labor
time was?
