Misfire problem...

Hey all,

I know this has been discussed before, but I can't find an issue quite like mine. Yesterday my car started shaking really bad at idle, and so this morning i diagnosed the code - 0604 cylinder 5 misfire. So I go outside and switch the coil pack from cylinder 5 to cylinder 1 and vice versa to see if its the coil. Finish switchin em out, and turn the car on and it still shakes, which was what i was expecting. So I take it for a spin, come back and diagnose the ECU - 0505 no problems. The car is still shaking. So I'm at a loss if its the coil pack, the plug or something else. I'm going to get a bottle of some fuel cleaner and run it through, if that might be the issue. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

same thing happened to me with cylinder #1
i switched it with number 3...and the problem lessened, though it was still evident. i got a set of used coils and swapped out the bad one...problem solved.
also, before that i ran fuel injection cleaner...but the coil was the problem.
