Hello all!
I am new to this site, and apologize if I am "beating a dead horse" with my questions, but I need to be sure before act on this. I am going to replace the entire exhaust on my '95 Maxima from the manifolds back, and am considering using a Budget Y-pipe, aftermarket converter, factory B-pipe, and a muffler section from a 2000 Maxima.

My goal here is not ultimate performance, but a slight upgrade with minimal noise and "buzziness". Will this combination: (a) Fit properly, and (b) be quiet? Does anyone have any experience with this setup? Will the Y2K muffler fit perfectly, or do I have to "modify" it somewhat to avoid clearance problems?

Yeah you can get the 2k muffler to work. I have a 2k2 on my car. It has to be messed with a little though. The flange will have to be changed around. Any decent muffler shop should be able to get it on in no time.
