Changing fuel filter

Changing fuel filter

I changed my fuel filter a couple months ago. i did not pull the fuse or anything. did i need to pull the fuse, when do u pull it, when the car is on or off?? did i mess up the pressure in the fuel system or something??

yeah your car is fine, the only reason you take the fuse out is to relieve the pressure so when you take the fuel filter off, not as much fuel will go shooting everywhere, and your supposed to take the fuse out first and than crank it a couple times until your car doesn't start

don't worry about it....they recommend pulling the fuse and running the eng until the car stops to keep you from spraying yourself with gas when you disconnect the fuel lines.....so if the filter is new and the car runs with no leaks....good job later
