continued transmission issues

after my vb install the tranny began slipping when at a complete stop. after taking it to the shop and paying 160 in labor for what was reported as "bolts in the valve body" my car continues to slip when accelerating from a full stop. not only that the shop overfilled my fluid. now i have to call them back tomarrow and find out what i can have them do. THIS SUCKS

i really enjoy the vb, i just need it to function correctly and hopefully not destroy my tranny

comments?, advice?, words of encouragement?

you should have tackled it yoruself and saved the issues..

but since you are obligated now...have them remove the VB and re-isntall it after verifying the bolt fitment of all in the body itslef and the ones you have to use to mount the body to tranny...tension is the key in the install...after that...the big deal is fluid levels...and that can be fun cause both over and under-filling can cause slippage...

yea i did the install myself the first time, when they took it out they said there were bolts in the filter that had come out of the vb? when i talked to them today he said he would read up on it and thought it might possibly be a fluid pressure regulator or something. he did overfill the fluid and when i brought it up he said they do that with performance trannies? im tempted to go out there to drain and refill the fluid to the right levels and see what happens.

thanks for the help

Drain some tranny fluid to get it to the correct level, and invest on an external tranny cooler if you didn't yet.
