Lowering a 97 Maxima

Hi,

Simple question. If I replace my stock shocks and springs with a set of H&Rs and Tokicos, I'm going to drop my car about 1.5". Do I need to cut my bumpstops or do anything else due to the drop. Keep in mind I live in the Northeast with all its potholes. Thanks for the help.
