i met him today at the track, the guy ran 12.1 with stock everything except for a few mods and a 150 shot is this really possible, im in utter disbelief and wanted to come here to ask ya if this is really possible the only other mods he had were solid rear shocks, and intake, exhaust, and afc. If this is true looks like im buying a maxima

 

I don't know him, but it's very possible. Jime runs 12.6 with a 100-shot and a few bolt-ons in an Automatic Maxima.

I think what he was trying to say was stock engine internals with just a few bolt-ons.

I understand what you saying but when you put in NX or anything else to your car engine your car will not be stock anymore. You have NOS and you are not stock.

 

Actually you are incorrect I do not have NOS.

Also if you change your wheels you are not stock either, so yes its not stock. I don't think that was ever in question.

No one in their right mind would ever suggest a stock Max would run 12's.

 

so you dont have NOS(nitrous oxide systems) but you do have NO2. but for the money spent that is a hell of a fast car. i quit modding mine after i priced a trubo for my car and the times people were getting with them. might decide to leave my 4x4 for now and play with my car some more.

Yup stole them from the wife's car, they are a bit lighter. The UDP is letting all the oil out so the car is much ligher.

14.7 @ 94 MPH so far. Still working on it. Thats how I tell if I am progressing, how much faster it is N/A. My best last year was 15.4 @ 88 MPH.

 

14.7 on slicks or streets?

 

Just tried streets once about a month ago and did a 15.4. I don't even bother anymore. Tried with a 35 shot and did a 15.1, then put the slicks on and did a 13.3.

Streets suck unless you are running 16 or higher then they don't spin.

 

damn. amazing what the right setup gets you. knocking 3 full secs off!

 

Going to try a set of 205/45/15 555R's next time out, I have them mounted on a set of millenia rims just to see what I can do with street rated tires. They are even smaller than my 22" slicks, not by much but they are smaller.
