Firewall hole?

Hey does anyone know if there is an easy to access hole in the firewall (mid engine) so I can run a foglight wire into the cabin? I did a searh and someone mentioned there being one behind the intake manifold and that there's a plastic/rubber thing I can just pull out. Can anyone clarify this? Any info will be great. Thanks

Mason

Look about 3 inches above the fuel filter and you'll find it. Its a rubber plug you have to pull out.

use a grommet - don't just run the wire through a hole in the firewall because it will chafe and could short. There's prolly a grommet already in place that you can poke a tiny hole in the center of and feed the wire through there. That's prevent the wire from chafing and also keep the firewall sealed.

Actually I couldn't find the one in the engine bay so I just went to the driver side fender. Used the grommet but not by poking a hole through it, instead I just lifted it out on one side and slid my wires in and pushed it back since poking a hole large enough was quite difficult. All in all it was a learning experience, thanks for the help guys.
