just changed knock sensor...

car seems to be back to normal.

http://www.motorvate.ca was not joking when he typed this line:

This will prevent it slipping out of your bleeding hands, and fall to a spot that you can not reach.
I though it was a joke when I first read it, but I ended up lubricating the intake manifold with my own blood so I could get my hand in there.

Yup, the KS can make your engine run way worse when it starts detecting pings and stuff. Did you get a code? What happened that you need to change it?

yeah, my hands are way too big to fit under the manifold... i had to hire a helper monkey to get his hands in there... and the labor was cheap... he worked for beer. but the difference in my cars performance was night and day. i hope to go back to the dyno soon to get some better #'s.

Yeah, when I practiced before I receinve the new sensor, I could not get my hand in there, but by sheer will power, I was able to squeese it in there to change it. It came at a price though, I skined half my thinb, I have a dozen cuts, and my hand sweeled up like a baloon. It was all worth it though.

I also bought from elsaman. Great product. Night and Day difference, and yes it was used. Looked brand new when I got it.
