So today i was taking of my wheel to paint my crapy looking calipers and i noticed the dust boot on both my front shocks have gone to ****. They are all broken and cracked and the silver piston shaft thing inside is clearly visible so i am asuming it is only a mattter of time before they go. So there goes my money for my y pipe, intake, and window tint. Son of a *****!!!! So what do you guys suggest for new shocks? Do i ahve to replace the springs too? i am pretty sure i want adjustable ones though. Peace

Oh yeah i dont' ahve a lot of money so keep it kinda budget.

well before you change those out, check for oil and dirt around the piston. If it's clean and there are no scratches on the piston, I would just replace the boots that are cracked. If the boots are still half way usable, duct tape them till you get new boots. The world isn't over.

Uhm, cracked/falling apart dust boots isnt really a big deal, mine were in bad shape when I put in an aftermarket suspension, as were probably everyone elses. I can almost guarentee that you will want to lower your car eventually, so just use em till then. I'm sure you can get away with it for a couple months until you get the money to do it right.

dude its not a big prob i've been runnin mine like that for over a year now. just waiting for mine to go bad so i have an excuse to lower and put on a set of agx's or something like them
