Has anyone takne on a spec-v
Well from time to time I will push my max a little against the occasional ricer just to prove a point. I have a reputation for it in the local rice scene. While I have trashed the modded civics and the occasional modded integra I want to know if i can beat my friends new 2003 nissan sentra spec-v. I somehow doubt it. He is lighter and has just a little less power. I dont know how the extra gear will work out for him cause i dont know how he drives it. So anyone raced one yet or have any numbers?
Oh yeah I am running a stock 95 5 spd.

Stock for stock, you will beat him. When I was stock and a friend of mine had just an intake it was neck & neck from a roll. He runs 15.2s consistently at 90-91...IIRC.
(forgot to add...just as long as you know how to race with your 5-spd then it shouldn't be a problem...but it would seem a pretty close race)

theirs a guy down here n kennewick, WA. his has a c/f hood and i guess a little bit of mods under the hood, but his frnds say that car jus crush stangs, si's . so i guess if it's fixed right then theirs gonna b some prblms.

It takes nothing to crush a new SI, or a V6 stang. He'd better have all of the bolt-ons to to even come close to crushing V8 mustangs. Every bolt-on out there including JWT Cams, balance-shaft removal, I/H/E, Knock sensor relocate, and prolly a couple others that i forgot. All these mods combined will get you low 14's MAYBE high 13's with slicks.
