hey i had a crazy idea, maybe its just a stupid one. but what if you could take the outside lenses off an altezza light and replace the original orange/red lens on the oem. throw some of that light cover stuff 97-99 lights use and try to get that to work. if anyone has tried it tell me. thanks

 

Do you mean something like, removing the lens from the altezza which is pretty much clear. Then painting the bottom side red as stock and using the florescent light cover on the top as you would with the 97 tails. hmmm, give it a try.

i think it will work, but you gotta take out those red circles in the altezza. and you have to do it to all 4 peices to get it to match.def worth a shot though.. try it. make a writeup with pics.

 

what red circles in the altezzas?? i was just saying to take off the lens on the oem piece and replacing it with the lens from the altezza. oh yea i dont wanna sound grimey or anything but if anyone has some altezzas to send me for no $$ so i could try this out it would be much appreciated. ill post pics and include a link to a webpage dedicated to the process. thanks
