going to be buying a max very soon and will be buying a manual if i can find it with 50-60k miles in black on black but otherwise I will buy an auto. I was wondering what kinda problems do the autos run into? and how many miles do most auto tranny's last?

 

Im at 81xxx and mine is still in perfect working order

 

torque converter on mine, not that noticable, will probably last another 50k with that problem (i shall not fix it). i would say these trannies (auto) last as long as the engine unless you beat on them.
