Feeler... '97 Maxima SE 5-speed

My Wife has just had back surgery and is unable to drive her M3 due to the stiff clutch. Being the nice guy that I am, I've traded cars with her as the clutch in my Maxima is considerably lighter. Her doctor told us that an automatic might do her good ;^(
Therefore, I may be putting the Maxima up for sale to find her a car with an automatic. Details as follows:

1997 Maxima SE
5-speed
Neptune Blue metallic (dark blue) with Black Leather interior
Bose Stereo
Power seats on both sides
Sunroof
Security & Convenience Package w/ homelink transmitter
119k miles

The car needs nothing and I had no intention of selling it prior to the doctors recommendation. If it's only worth $5-6K I'll keep it and store the M3 for track events. It is in excellent shape and all miles are highway miles due to a 150 mile daily round trip to work for it's entire life. Maintained religously, uses no oil, runs like new and is easily good for another 119k. Knock sensor replaced, new NGK platinum plugs, air filter, fuel filter, PCV, and front brakes. I have a full cloth interior (all seats & door panels) that's in brand new condition along with the leather interior. If you pick up a wiring harness and switches, heated seats can be added to the leather interior.
I would sell it for low 8k range or be interested in a possible auto trade. Trade must not be a modified "ricer" Maxima but a relatively low mile SE (97-02) stock with heated seats and sunroof. I'm in the northern Illinois area.

I think you could find someone to buy your car pretty easily. Loaded, dark blue 5spd is a much sought-after combination around here. And I'm sure there's someone who would rather have your 5spd vs. their auto.
