car won't go over 100mph, help?

i was driving on freeway and this integra comes flying up from behind, i'm doing 90 so he has to be going 100+. anyway, i drop it in 4th and punch it. i'm accelerating briskly when my car hits 100 the check engine light comes on and will not accelerate. the light flashes at first, then stays on. i hear throttle open all the way but it is as if the car itself will not go over 100.....anyway, i check mil and shows cylinder misfire and ks code. will either of these codes cause my car to be this way.

Cylinder misfire or one cylinder not firing at all?

Running on only 5 cylinders could contribute to a power loss.

Also, if your KS is dead, then you will have misfires.

First of all you shouldn't stoop down to the integra's level and drive over 100mph. Sooner or later you or someone else is gonna pay the price...

Your car not being able to go over 100 is God's way of telling you to slow down.

if you change your coil, your knock sensor code might go away.
