Mpg Issues

I have a 98 Max..Since I went from my stock 15 tires to 235/40/18 tires w/ ATS wheels my MPG has dropped significantly from about 26mpg to about 20-21mpg. Is this normal. Has anyone else experienced this...if so why does this happen. Thanks.

18" wheels are heavy, so yes whats happening to your MPG is normal. You should also feel the brakes and accelleration lag a bit too from the weight of the wheel.
