Engine Removal Questions
So this weekend I'm starting the engine swap. My plan is to get the engine out this weekend, parts prepped/swapped next week, then the new engine in the weekend after.
Some questions about removing the engine:
* Leave the AC system in the car I assume? I can't imagine breaking the AC lines would be a lot of fun.
* Take the SC out with the engine? Can't imagine why I wouldn't.
* Can the alternator come out with the engine?
Any other tips?
Thanks!

Leave the ac compressor on. Just wire it up so you don't stress the connections.
I'd take the sc out and maybe leave the plate on. but since it's high, I don't see a problem. If you drop the engine down, then I'd definately take the sc out. But I'd take it out from the top.
Alternator is easy to take out. I'd take it out before. Plus when you have to set the engine down, you don't want it sitting on the alternator.

Leave the AC in the car. Leave the PS in the car if you can. Are you going to remove the hood or just disconnect the struts and fold it further back? Doesn't seem like you'd get much more room that way, but it's preferable to trying to realign the hood later!

I removed the hood...
The AC and Power Steering, I left in the car...
Once I got the motor out, I removed the alternator.
As far as the SC goes, I'd leave it attached to the motor until you have it pulled.
Have fun!!

Where did you "grab" the engine by? Mounts?
How long did it take you?

Once I got everything off the motor, it didn't take long to get it pulled.
