The swirl valve attached to the intake manifold- how can I detach it from the intake manifold without actually removing the intake manifold? I'm looking for a tool that will facilitate matters (or a good method)....

 

Why not just disable it? Pull the hose from it and cap the ends.

 

I need to test/remove my knock sensor-- the swirl control valve mechanism prevents that...
