What would it take for a 5 speed 4th Gen to equal or beat a 6th gen auto?

Key Areas of both cars stock:

4th Gen 15, 16 inch rims
6th Gen 18 inch

4th Gen 3000 lbs
6th Gen 3450 lbs

4th Gen 3.0
6th Gen 3.5

Not sure on the 6th gen stuff. But basically im asking what mods would need to be added for a close race or win by the older 4th gen ?

I have i/y/e and safc and I beat 5th gen autos, I dunno if the 6 th gen are much faster than that since they weight just the same if not more. It really depends on the driver.

 

Yet another variable to think about: 6th gen 5-speed auto or 4-speed auto.

sounds good to me, but what mods would need to be added to make it a better race? ypipe, intake, and jwt ecu ? MEVI?
