Shift point

Does anybody know at what rpms exactly th auto shifts from 2nd into 3rd when you foolr it all the way...
It is '96 gle btw.

No, i meant if you have an auto tranny...
The shift point is defined by the ecu, so if you leave it in "D" when does it shift?

7000 rpm!! Our cars have a rev limiter at 6700 rpm.

if you floor it, it will shift at the limiter. If you gradually build up speed, it will shift anywhere from 2500RPMs or higher.

i believe that it shifts at 6200 rpm at WOT.

That's what i noticed on my father's i30 - something like 6000 even.
Now... is i30t tranny controller any different from say 96 max? (cuz p/ns are kinda different...)
Or that ecu off of an i30t?
