12V DC output

Where do I get current to connect a DC-DC power supply (for hooking up a computer, for example) Where do I connect the power leads?

You can use your own dedicated line direct from the battery (be sure to fuse this wire appropriately), or you can tap off the 12v (cigg. lighter) source.

you can also tap into the fuse block. if there is an empty opening you can put a fuse in and use that slot. need to make sure the lead terminal is getting current, if not you may need to connect that to the lead of another terminal. BTW, since you're there, it may be a good idea to put it to a lead that only goes on when your ignition is on, that way you don't drain your battery if you leave your computer on by mistake...unless you want it to be able to work when your car is off?

You might also want to consider some form of voltage regulations as the voltage does fluctuate, especially when you're turning the ignition. Some have gone as far as using a UPS system. Some random links I still have that might prove useful:

http://www.mini-box.com/pw_press.htm (many ppl have altered the PW-60 to become an effective PW-120)

You could always use a power inverter like this:
