High wattage fog lights

I was thinking about replacing the stock fog lights with 75 watt bulbs but first I wanted to know if that would screw up the wiring harness or anything by doing this.

It might cause too much heat in the fog light bulb housing and either burn out the bulb, or melt the harness.

i put in Naxos H3 bulbs into my foglights, they are either 100 or 80 watt, i forget, but anyway, the glass of the foglight cracked after a few weeks from all the extra heat.. needless to say I went back to stock bulbs

there are some PIAA bulbs, i think they are called Extreme White, which are stock wattage, but have the super white hid look to them.
