Wheres our Tein springs??

found these on the website....they have given the 5th gens a nice drop, but for 4th Gens...(considering these are on their springs) the drop doesnt look any lower than B+G's... a lil lower than H&R's, but not as low as Sprints

IMHO the drop looks good and even, but it certainly would be nice if it was a1/4 or 1/2 of an inch lower. Can you post link(s) to where on Tein's page you found it? I want to contact them about purchasing the springs if they're available. I'm basing that idea on the fact that so many 5th gen owners on the org love their Tein springs.

The tein website says the S.Tech springs for the 4th gen will cost $220, drop the front 2.2 inches and rear 1.8 inches. It also says "Coming Soon" so I guess they're not available anywhere yet. Does anyone know a distributor, or are a distrubutor themself who will be carrying/purchasing these springs when they are available?

You guys are overlooking the fact that person is running on incredibly small tires. If you were to run on proper sized tires it would fill the gap more and make the drop look lower.
That drop is pretty much on par with my B+G drop..yet i suffer from a bit of a$$ sag... damn system...

you mean 245/50/17" right? My wheels are only 7" wide so the largest that will physically fit is 235, and for safety reasons shouldn't be above 225. The next set of tires i buy will be one of the two. The reason mine are 215 is because I bought the wheels/tires used with 5k miles and the deal was so good i didn't want to pass it up.

I personally have been tempted to buy the 5th gen springs and install those, but it looks like they have finished the R&D, so they should be available eventually...I think I'll wait now...hopefully they ride smoothly like the 5th gens...

What are Helper springs? I don't know if they will be better than Eibach springs for our cars. I do know that the 5th gen guys LOVE the Tein S.Tech springs for their cars. I was also planning on buying the 5th gen springs and getting help from Tom in NJ to custom-fit the rear springs. But now that I know Tein will have them out for the 4th gen, I'll just wait for these. I hope they're here before September. If anyone else wants to bug Tein USA about them, I think that would be smart. Maybe they'll disclose a little more info ;-)
