Horribly loud squel coming from Front Right Wheel.

The sound comes when I am making a right turn, sometimes when I am going straight no matter what the speed, and everytime when I brake, and sometimes over bumps. It just starter this morning and has slowly gotten worse. I replaced my front rotors over 1000 miles ago so I don't think that has anything to do with it. Its loud as hell and is driving me crazy. I took off my front right rotor and banged the brake shield back that behind the rotor but the noise is still there. Someone please help me as the sound is annoying and embarrasing. thank you

sounds like you have a wheel bearing problem.

I would bet its one of three things, the rotor shield, the brake pads, or wheel bearing. I had the wheel bearing fail on me and made some nasty squeeling scratching noises while driving. They were worse once the car warmed up. Try seeing if the wheel feels loose when you jack your car in the air. There should be no movement. Bearing is around 40 bucks, and usually a shop will charge about 80 bucks to replace it.
