Injen Intake install help!!

I have my injen CAI here at my house and tried to install it on monday night. The instructions seemed very contradicting and vague to me. If any of you are in the Des Moines Iowa area and have installed the injen CAI or another CAI, I will pay if you can help me install it. I think I was doing everything right getting up to the part where I actually install the unit, but the instructions weren't specific enough about the pieces to remove, sensors to unclip, etc. My main problem was not being about to find the air temp sensor. Instructions said it was mounted on strut tower...didn't see anything that resembled the picture. Then a caption said it was on the airbox? WHERE IS IT?? Are there any other sources of instructions? Any Des Moines people available to help? I want that thing in my car soon, and its drving me nuts! Help me out here!

UPDATE: I just turned the max on for the first time in 2 days...when it started it made a strange noise...hard to explain, but it didn't sound like anything was being damaged. The engine was running smooth but I looked at the dash and the "SERVICE ENGINE SOON" light was lit. This scared the hell out of me and I turned it off immediately. After re-connection of my stock intake assembly I think I may have screwed something up...I checked all the visible connections, and they were ok...I did notice a small hose that was located near the MAF that was not disconnected, but rather pulled down on its post, so I adjusted it...what should I do? Is this light lit because of connection errors or did I *#$% up my beautiful VQ for real? Oh yeah and by the way I still need help with the intake install!!!!!!

The engine light may be on because something wasn't connected right when the car was started. You can self diagnose the car through the ecu and see what codes come up (there is another thread on here that explains this in detail) The air temp sensor is located on the back side of the airbox, on the top part. It is held in by two screws. I ordered my injen yesterday, so it didn't come in yet, but if you are still having trouble by the time mine comes in I will have more info for you.

On your 97, the air intake temp sensor should be in the last piece of intaking piping that leads twards the air box. It's down low, sort of near the fuel filter. It's hard to see, especially if you have ABS.
