Run the signal wire of the A/F gauge mine was purple, to either the o2 sensor signal off the ecu or to the actual sensor.

Which ever you want to monitor. You've got to pick one. I picked the left front, just because its easy to get to the sensors wiring harness.

do not wire to the o2 sensor. it WILL NOT be accurate! for a full diagram of EXACTLY where to wire it on your ecu click on the diagram section of this website www.hlh0501.com

Thanks But I have 2 Questions.

#1 do you splice the wire that runs in there and attach it OR do you physically car ram-rod that wire into the hole with the other wire still there.

#2 this is the ecu by my drivers-side feet right. And im gonna take it out to do this? or can i leave it in and go from the passenger side.

Thanks guys. much support.

www.hlh0501.com shows you EXACTLY where to wire it. very simple and yes that IS as accurate as you can get(ECU)trust me. I'm **** when it comes to things like this.

You can access the wires for the ecu, on the passenger side of the center console. Remove the plastic kick panel, then the center bolt attaching the wire harness to the ecu. Pull the white/clear plastic cover off of the wires, and trace down ONE of the two red-outlined pins from the diagram. Attach your purple lead from a/f gauge to one of those two wires, using just a wire-tap.

Goodluck and enjoy. Oh, and do not freak out when your a/f gauge bounces all around when cruising etc, it is only accurate when you are throttling on it a decent amount.

Its only as accurate as the narrow band O2 sensor you are hooking up to. It varies with temperature and is only accurate over a very narrow band it is no good for boosted engines where the A/F is in the 12:1 range.

If you want accuracy you need a wideband O2 setup and they cost money.

It serves as a great "spacer" in your guage set up though, if you're waiting for a more useful one.

If you already have an a/f gauge, can you just buy a wide band sensor and hook it up to that instead of the oem sensor? Or would I need a different setup?
