Here is what i did, turn the tail light asembly over and lay it lense down on a towel so you do not scratch the lense. Heat the perimeter of the bezel (where you removed the five very small screws, the black/dark gray plastic)slowly. Do not get the heatgun too close and keep the heatgun moving. The glue used to hold the assembly together is like "hot-melt" glue used in crafts. It doesnt take to long at all to warm it to its melting point (couple of minutes). The plastic used to make up the housing (black) will act as a conductor of heat and stays warm for a while. My only word of caution for this mod is to take your time when seperating the lense from the bezel. Let it get good and warm before pulling the lense off. If you feel any resistance stop! And warm it up again. The lenses are made of a somewhat brittle plastic and they will crack if you are not careful. Let the heatgun do the work. I have to replace one of my lenses because I put too much pressure on it while seperating it. Courtesy Nissan price for just the outer lense: $77.14....so
take your time.
