Attempting Rear Timing Cover Oil Seal
Attempting Rear Timing Cover Oil Seal
Hey everyone. I'm attempting to fix my rear timing cover oil seal, and both oil pans. I have both the chilton and haynes manual. Anyone have any suggestions with the timing and what not???

You'll have to remove the passenger side motor mount to get the the timing chain case off. I have heard a couple people mention jacking up that side of the motor for some more room but I haven't personally done it. Hopefully someone who has changed the timing chain can chime in.
I have a couple of pics on my homepage of the timing chain case off if you want a look at it. Unfortunately the motor is on an engine stand so you won't get a good idea of what you're in for.
Hope this helps.
