ebrake light on?

ebrake light on?

Noticed it last night...ebrake is operational, why would the light be on if it isn't in use???

yeap, check your break fluid, also it might be the alternator if the battery lights up with it at the same time

Make sure all your hoses are tight on the brake system. I had this light come on once and I thought it was something with the E-brake. After a few hours of driving I was stopped in heavy traffic. As I was holding the pedal, it suddendly went straight to the floor with brake fluid being sprayed all over my front left wheel.

I was able to limp the car home in slow traffic since only one of the two brake channels was out.
