Power Antenna from Ebay

A couple months ago I stupidly broke my power antenna by going into the garage to quickly. Anyways, it is really bugging me now cause the radio stations do not come in clear. My mechanic quoted me $150 for a new antenna and installation. I found two antennas on EBay, I was wondering if anyone has purchased these. Do they work as well?
1st Auction:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=14933
Seller: mycarjams (1051)
Price:$29.50
2nd Auction:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2424449220
Seller: ****enss (3121)
Price:$42.25
Please post any cheap solution to fixing the broken power antenna. Thanks

All you need is the antenna mast. It is the long part that retracts out. I accidently went through a car wash a long time ago and mine will not go al the way down. So, I bought a new mast from a .org member and slapped it on. Wah la, it works better than before now.

I replaced mine last week with one that I got off e-bay and it was very easy and works great. I found the hardest part was getting the top nut off and back on. I used 2 nails to unscrew it, just becareful you don't slip.
