Unusual Break Noise

Anyone know what the problem might be if the breaks make a little sqeak, not when they are being pressed, but when the car is moving slowly. It's a short little repeating squeak, but once your going over, say, 30 mph you can't hear it anymore.

Sounds like your rotors are warped.

You probably need new pads. You are just starting to hear the wear indicators.

Yeah I'm leaning towards the pads idea. But do rotors tend to warp at all? That seems odd for normal use and conditions

yup. rotors warp. Might be from lousy metal in the rotor, a hard braking condition and they got overheated, they could have been hot the last time you washed the car and sprayed them with cold water or even the lug nuts could be not torqued evenly.
