Neon and Strobes Install - Pics
Just thought I'd post some pics of how my stereo redo is comming along.
Here is a pic of how my old stereo used to look, notice how uneven the sides were and how it wasn't centered very well (this was my first real custom system).

I have recut the hole out bigger so the sub shows through all the way. On the fiberglass box I have stretched some blue vinyl around the sub. Still have to recarpet and work on some other neat little things.
Now for lighting...first time for destruction
I have run a ton of relays and new wire all over the place.
Here is the completed project. I now have 4 switches to control various devices in the car switch 1) Under dash neons 2) Under dash blue strobes 3) Trunk blue strobes 4) Neon beside sub and amp
You can also see my newest project in the works. A shift plate that replaces the leather boot. Its made of blue semi-transparent plexiglass. I cut out a hole for the b&m shifter. When my neons come in I will be putting them under the plexi so when on, will shine up and give a glow all around the shift *** and stick!!
Something different anyways...
And a close up of the switches:
