Any one ever just paint their bezel

I was wondering if anyone just painted their bezel and all the plastic trim around the stereo and stuff. Im thinking about it, because it saves tons of money because those kits are around 150 dollars with the wood and silver. But i dont know how the paint will look on the plastic

It is very sensetive. The second it touches metal, you'll have yourself a nice noticible scratch. Paint doesnt hold to well on plastic usually, unless its done right.

You must buy the urethane type of paint or plastic primer which allows the painter to successfully paint on curves without warping and bubbles.
