I noticed that my auto tranny has this hard kick from 1st to 2nd gear. much like when i turn my tranny resistor switch on. Now it does not matter wheather the switch is on or not the kick is there and there is this high frequency hum that I can feel when am on the throtle. I dont know if the tranny is slipping or if its something different. If anyone knows about this or has had this experience, please help me out.

 

After you get your tranny fixed, do yourself a favor and remove that tranny resistor switch mod.

Sorry I can't offer you help on your problem, I'm only offering some advice on how not to make it happen again.

 

I only used the switch at the race track. The only real abuse I dealt to it is that I drove it alot in third gear and some times I used the fisrt and second gears manually.

 

The Drop resistor mod is actually better for your tranny...

Is your tranny fluid discoloured? Smell bad? My tranny has bucked on the 1/2 shift since the day I had it.
