I’ve been hearing a rattling sound on the right side of my car whenever I go over bumps…another sound (which I think is linked to it) comes when I press on the break to hard and it feels and sounds like ABS, but im sure it’s not.

 

I get the same exact sound but it comes from both sides. I have changed so many things to get rid of it to no avail.

 

blown shocks? worn out engine mounts?

 

i vote: blown shocks

 

50 bucks says its the heat shield or a broken exhaust mount. Just had to weld mine.

 

i hope it's the shoks, because i just got new ones and gonna instal them soon

 

Mine is not the shocks. I just put installed kyb/agx shocks and the rattling is still there. I have always suspected a loose exhaust mount just have not checked it out. I thought that the rattle had to come from somewhere on the suspension.

 

I have a rattling exhaust/heat shield mount somewhere towards the rear. Number 2 on the fix parade after the rear brake pad replacement.

 

i just installed shocks and springs and the sound is gone
