How to remove headlight housing

Does anyone know where I can find a simple "how-to" on how to remove the driver side headlight-housing from the car. The lens in the inside is dirty and yellowish, and I just wanted to clean it. Thanks.

Not sure about a write-up but maybe I can help. I took mine off and apart and did the "anniversary mod" last night. It's pretty simple actually.

You'll first want to remove the grill. There is one snap at each corner at the top, two plastic 'screws' at the bottom and a large snap in the middle behind the Nissan logo (removing the hood latch will make it easier to undo the large snap...3 bolts 10mm)
Next you'll need to remove the corner light housing. There is 1 screw at the top(phillips). Then using a flathead screwdriver pry back the cornerlight(there is a ball-joint fastener at the bottom). It may be a little difficult to remove but trust me, it will come out with a bit of muscle.
Go ahead and remove the 9004 bulbs. Once the corner lamp is removed you can access the 2 bolts(10mm) securing the outer portion of the headlight.(you'll need a 4" extension at least).
Inside the engine bay on the backside of the headlight are two nuts(10mm).You will need an extension for the top nut but not on the lower nut. (be careful not to drop these). After all the bolts and nuts are removed you should be able to pull out the headlight assembly.
To remove the bracket used to adjust the direction of the light you need to remove the two screws(8mm)and a snap on the opposite side using a small, long flathead screwdriver. Also, there are 5 metal clips holding the lense to the housing. These can be removed by pressing down on them and prying them off with a flathead screwdriver.
Now, to be able to get inside the headlight for cleaning you'll need to separate the lense from the housing. This is done pretty much the same as doing the "red/clear mod". Set your oven to about 200 degrees and place the headlights in the oven for 15-20 minutes. This will allow the adhesive to soften. Using a flathead screwdriver separate the lense from the housing. You may need a heatgun to keep the adhesive soft.
Clean the reflective suface and lense.
Put the lense and housing back together and place the headlight back in the oven for another 15-20 minutes. The headlight will pretty much seal itself but you'll need to apply some force to seal it completely. Then re-attach the 5 metal clips. These will make sure it doesn't sepatate.
Assembly is same as reverse.
Total time on this is about 1-1.5 hours....if you're doing both sides.

I hope I could help you out any. Good luck.

No problem guys. Just thought I'd share my knowledge while it was still fresh in my head.
