My 99 5 spd isnt shifting as smoothly as it use to, into 5th mainly. I think im going to change the Gear Lube using Mobile 1 synthetic gear lube which is 75w90 I think.

First of all this stuff has been sitting on my self for about 2 years, but it hasnt been opened and I doubt it would expire...right?

Also in order to change the fluid is there some plug to pull or wat to get the old fluid out? How many quarts do I need to put into the car in order to replace all the old lube?

shouldn't be expired...since it sits in the car for a few years itself

you'll need about 4.5 quarts of fluid

there is a drain bolt you can take off...or a sensor (which is more easily accessable)
