short shifter Is it too short?
I have a 97 se 5-speed and i was going to buy a short shift from custommaxima.com and i did not know weather there is room so that your had does not hit your E-brake handle it looks like it would so i dont know if i should go a head with this or just cut my shifter down at my shop( i have the tools to do it) plez respond asap so i can do this next mod.

uhm, i have driven 3 maximas with sts' and none have ever had ne proble with the e brake handle...I am just gonna cut mine, b/c i dont like the notchiness that sts' have...i love the smooooooth oem throw that my shifter has now
