Hello crew.

I have a 96 Auto Max. Lately, its been having some problems starting up. I turn the key, and nothing, no clicks, nothing. Then wait 10 seconds, do it again, and it starts no problem. Sometimes it takes a couple tries. I was wondering what it could be. Starter, Transmission, ? Has anyone had the same problem?

Need to troubleshoot.

I've had the same problem with my 96 SE and my brother had the same thing with his 95 GLE, both autos. For us, it was the starter. Had them replaced and no problems since.

Also, make sure it's all the way in the gear, and if it won't start still, try pushing the shifter all the way to the front past "P" (push in the shift button and push foward, while trying to start). That worked on my brothers car this weekend when it wouldn't start. Hope that helps.
