Painted my Bezel Blue, and problems

I painted my bezel blue and white tell me what you think

http://www.cardomain.com/member_page...=383353&page=3

But now where my buttons are that say auto econ and the heat arrow button dont light up, did i maybe blow out the bulb or a fuse? If this has happened to anyone, is there some kind of replacement bulb to put in. Also i want a white boot for my shifter, has anyone but one in because i was wondering if you have to take out that ringed support on the stock boot and someone put it into the new boot.

thanks jeff

most likely you blew a fuse doing something wrong (didnt disconnect the battery when u were installing and changing stuff, hooked it up wrong and it popped) or you didnt install the connectors right when you put it back on after painting it... did you remove any of the electronics or just the bezel? btw, it looks pretty good... the point is that YOU like it

you probably forgot to hook up a wire or something maybe thats why the lights are not working........ by the way blue does not look bad...

Hmm, i did disconnect the electronics, i was pretty careful to make sure i didnt miss a wire, i guess i will check the fuse box first, then disassemble it and look for a missing wire. I didnt disconnect the battery while i was fully around with it (dumb). But yea, my digital camra is horrible, i got it free with my dsl, i would buy a new one, but id rather get a new mod... Thanks everyone for answering my questions, they are helpful.

like i said, you could have popped a fuse when installing it with the battery connected...but unlikely u blew up one of the little LEDs. you maybe misconnected, or didnt connect a wire in back, make sure when u check it to not make things worse!
