TPS specs and adjustment

TPS specs and adjustment
I did a search on this on test.maxima.org but couldn't find anything.
My AT granny-tranny has been shifting harder than it should ever since I got the car. I mean it's not neck breaking but there is nothing near "luxury feel" to it at all on any shifts. I flushed the tranny, monitored the ATF level constantly and there are no leaks. Since one of the first things to check when the shifts are rough is the TPS adjustment I went ahead and checked that last night.
The factory voltage specs for the range from closed throttle to WOT is
0.5K Ohms - 4.0K Ohms
My TPS checks at
0.59K Ohms - 4.22K Ohms (.1K to .2K higher than recommended)
Does anyone have experience with TPS adjustments? Would this little deviation make a significant difference in throttle position signal sent to ECU and TCM? How hard is it to adjust the TPS?
Any input appreciated.

I would but the search at the test site is not working as it should (http://test.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=235853). I don;t remember seing it in Haynes but if it is there I'll find it when I get home.
Thanks.
Thanks.
