engine lights is on -help

I got my 95 early this year with no bells for now. Presently about 99k miles. My engine light came on right after I heard the rough shift from my automatice transaxle. The car now shiftes roughly and had -like some "funny" drivers on a manual transaxle. I have done the diagnostic test =the ten OD OFF flash code=, and found out that the problem points to "the line pressure solenoid valve circuit is shorted or disconnected." Where can I find it, and how do I go about fixing it? Please help cause am loveing this baby so much, that I was glad I never got a toyota or a honda. Max is the car.

Thanks metallic97gxe, I already know what the problem is. Now I need to find out where the "line pressure solenoid valve circuit" is located so I can fix it. Do you, or anybody, have an idea as to where it is located and how to fix or replace it? Thanks.

Sorry to be so stupid, but would you guys mind explaining it so that I can print it off and take it to the stupid dealership here in Dallas. I have the exact same problem and for the past 6 months they have been experimenting by trial and error. So far, I've spent over $2,000, with my ECU, resistor, and more recently my transmission solenoids being replaced. Last time I took it to them, they couldn't find anything wrong other than the error code pointing to the same line pressure thing. They actually suggested that I get a new car, and my car only has 80K on it.. (1996 SE)

I'd really appreciate a response that I can print and take it to them cuz I am mechanically as clueless as they come..
