I got a bad idle on my car and when i try to take off i rev to about 1.5k and the rpms just drop to like 500 as if the cars is about to stall, now i changed my fuel filer and a couple of people are telling me its the MAF sensor , i rember a member talking before about cleaning it or something, taking it apart or somethin, can anyone help me or gimie ideas , is it the MAF or could it be something else?

 

It could be also a fuel Delivery System Problem.. Like a Fuel pump...

 

humm, i never thought about it being that serious, how could i check it??

 

I am not a mechanic I was just thiking about that. I use to have old Acurra legend 87 and that car use to do that. and one day it never started. and took to mechanic said the fuel filter needs to be changed. I changed after that no more problems......
