ok i have a 95 5spd max

now everyone knows that when u floor the max when its rollin 10mph in 1st gear that it goes off like a beast

but like a week ago something weird has happened

i floor it, it redlines at 6550 for 3 seconds (yes i counted it) and then it takes off. i have virtually NO POWER and i cant even pull out of my subdivision unless no one is comin because i cannot pull out fast at all. it redlines everygear without any power and a few seconds later power comes. i get no power and no gas mileage beacuse im constantly redlining every gear not to be hit in the ***.

any info would be greatly appreciated

 

What is it with everyone's clutch slipping these days?!?

Your clutch is seriously slipping. If it's doing it in 1st gear, it's pretty much toast. Get a new one. If you're handy, you can do it yourself. If not, expect to pay $$ (~400 labor/~250+ parts).

 

go get your clutch checked out.

 

you could do it cheaper than that. i got my clutch replaced for 325. im talking parts and labor. granted it probably wasnt the best job ever but you could definately get it done for under 500 with parts.

 

had it happen to me, it is probely the cluth let us know if it is get worst very quick

 

Your blinker fluid is out. Go get some more.
