Need some help with paint
Recently I had the pleasure of crashing my max thanks to an oil spill and a tight offramp. I screwed my fender up a little bit and mauled my bumper. I'm going to have to get it painted. My question is, if I am sending my car to get the bumper done what could I expect as far as price goes to get the whole are sprayed the same color to get rid of all the little imperfections? Has anyone done this - and if so was it worth it? Thank you for reading this!

Price depends on where you go. Ask around in your area where a good body shop is. So much of a good paint job is in the manual labor that goes into prep and paint. You could use top quality, expensive stuff, but if you don't do the work right it'll look like carp. To get your fender replaced, your bumper, and paint the car I would guess in the $1000 (+ or - $200) up to $3000. Just depends on where you go. Ask about aftermarket parts, not OEM. OEM body parts are generally much more expensive. Most aftermarket body parts these days are made as good or better than original.
As for painting it all over, that is probably a good idea. even the newest 4th generation Max is around 4 years old. With aging, fading, etc the color is hard to match and will not weather the same. It will however, cost more. Same color is much cheaper than a color change.
