I did buy new strut mounts for the front, but that was a waste of money for me since my old ones were fine. You'll have to see if they're bad or not.

You won't need rear mounts since they don't go bad because they are metal or something (Dave B. told me that ). So buy only the front ones if you need them (stay away from KYB strut mounts, get OEM)

One thing that I strongly suggest you replace too are the front strut bearings. I have the AGX's installed at about 115000 km, at that point the bearings behaved well. I actually have bought a set of bearings and have asked the mechanic to replace the old ones. He did not do it - apparently, the bearings looked fine. The first few weeks were fine no sound/noise front the new suspension. However, once they settled, I have squeaking coming from the passenger side strut - not loud but audiable thus annoying!! I am planning to take it back to the mechanic to ask him to replace the bearings soon.

The Tirerack does not carry the KYB dustboot/bumpstops for our cars. I emailed someone there two weeks ago, and they said they do not have them for the 4th gen Maxima. I then wrote to them that they are for other cars, I also wrote that I could not remember which cars, but they would also fit our cars. I provided a link to Cattman's website for a reference in my second email. They then emailed me back and said that they were sorry but at this time they do not carry them.

I will get mine from Cattman or I will try Taylor Automotive. I goofed and put in the new stock ones without cutting them . I am leaning towards buying a set of Illuminas for the front, since I will be having the suspension apart, and don't want to pay for alignment again if they AGX's are still to stiff (which I hear they still will be).

I got my KYB dustboots from TireRack. I called them up and told them I need them for my car and the guy said that they don't make it for our cars. I told him to send me 2 SB103s and 2 SB108s. He told me that I won't be able to return them since they aren't for my car and I said fine. They fit fine and they should hold up well

The front strut bearings are ~$25 each after the 25% discount when you order from an online Nissan dealer.

Jatan, how much did you pay for your dustboots from the Tirerack? If they are cheaper, I will just give them the #'s of the boots that you provided when I order from them. Thanks

Where they KYB bumpstops a lot shorter than the OEM?

$12 x 4 = $48 + ~$8 s/h = $56 shipped. You might find it cheaper somewhere else, but you'll have to look
