Hey guys,
Here's something that stumps me...

When I bought my 95 GXE 1.5 years ago, my mileage was around 9.8 L/100km. It has been getting better and better... I keep it tuned up (plugs, oil, air filter, gas filter, etc.), but nothing extra.
This last tank was 765km on 62.5 liters of gas (always 92 octain from Sunoco), which puts me at 8.16 L/100km. This is not a sudden jump, it has been getting lower now for about 6months.

Any ideas why?

p.s.(I believe my mileage numbers are very accurate, I've monitored them for over a year.)

It depends a lot on how you drive the car, and what kind of driving you do. Just compare Dev, black5spdmax and I. Dev has a 99ES, black5spdmax has a 98SE, and I a 98SE, all 5 spds. Dev drives like a veritable grandmother and gets like 600+km/tank (a tank is about 55-60L as most of us fill up around when the low fuel light comes on, which usually leaves about 10-15L in the tank, with a 70L tank), I get about 550km/tank, and black5spdmax gets under 500km/tank. And you know what? Dave and I could both get 600km+/tank if we toned down our antics as well.

So maybe it's just because you've been driving with a light foot.
