??? on Tach

O.k. guys need some help. my 98se 5spd tach is dead! I've tried swaping ECU's, tested the tach using the segment check in diagnosis mode and it turned out ok, used a meter to check the resistance on the gauge itself(with in specs), check for short between gauge and ecu(no short) any ideas?

You need to replace your speedo/tach head unit.

why did u replace the ecu? the guage cluster is probably problematic now, if everything else is working on it, get a replacement gauge cluster from someone here or on ebay and see if that works
