I just got my strutbar in the mail today from custommaxima and was wondering how many of you guys torqued down the nuts when installing it,and how much torque was applied. Thanks in advance.

 

we just had this same convo in the 5th gen forum. i don't know if anyone has the official # for the custom maxima fsb. i just put mine on last night, and i just tightened it down until i coulnd't turn it. i'm gonna buy a torque wrench tonight though

my FSTB is tightened to 29 pound ft

 

and its all good with 29? did you get the number from custom maxima or u jus did it yourself?

 

mines 35 ft lbs

 

i read on hte forums before i installed to put between 29-35 so i put 29 and its perfect

There was an attempt to steal my car and was no success for the *****er. I got a hood lock and a metal steering pan with club on it. The back of the club has a temper resistance so you should have it face toward you.
