PLEASE Need help...Putting a 97 motor in a 95 with 5 speed conversio

Ok...the main problem that we've run into is that, the clutch lines from the 97 run exactly where the canister is for the 95gxe. Now...we've obviously removed the canister to get the clutch lines in, but my questions are as follows:

Is the canister really needed?

Should I remove the canister from the 97 (rear) and install in the 95? (is that possible?)

Should I just say no...and bypass the canister? if so, how?

Also I noticed that the fittings on the AC compressor are definately different, so anyone that has to do this engine swap, swap your AC compressors..

Thankx
